Sienna didn’t hesitate. As the SUV sped away from the gas station, she ran to her car and followed, keeping two vehicles between them. The flyer beside her showed eight-year-old Maya Bennett, missing for eighteen months.

The SUV left the highway and turned onto an abandoned industrial road. It stopped beside a boarded-up repair shop. The driver dragged the frightened woman inside, never noticing Sienna park behind an empty warehouse.

Sienna entered through a broken side door and found the woman locked in an office.

“Don’t worry about me,” she whispered. “Find my daughter.”

Maya was her child. The man had taken the girl first, then kidnapped her mother when she got too close to finding those responsible. He forced her to travel with him and appear calm in public.

Then Sienna heard it—a child quietly humming behind a steel door.

She followed the sound down a dark hallway. On one wall were twelve photographs of missing children, each marked with a different date and location.

Footsteps scraped the floor behind her.

The driver lunged at Sienna, but she knocked him down and took his phone. Inside a locked storage room, she found Maya frightened and exhausted, but alive.

As police sirens approached, the phone vibrated.

“She saw your face. Move the others tonight.”

Then a second message appeared:

“Agent Williams is already inside.”

Sienna looked toward the dark hallway. Maya was safe—but whoever controlled the operation knew exactly who Sienna was.
